OJSC Dalsvyaz
A Telecommunication service provider active in the Russian Far East. It is part of Svyazinvest Holdings, which is Russia's largest telecommunications holding company, and which owns many large regional telecommunications service providers in Russia. It was merged with Russia's national telecommunications operator Rostelecom in April 2011.

Challenge: To implement a data services layer which offered developers a uniform model for accessing heterogeneous and distributed data sources. This was an essential component of company’s future SOA.
Results: The DatumNode Data Services Platform now covers more than 100 heterogeneous data sources, distributed through 6 branches. Over 50 developers use a single entry point for interacting with numerous data sources with a unified security model integrated with Microsoft Active Directory. Data architects and system administrators have the essential tool to perform their tasks, such as deploying data services, implementing security and caching policies, centralized monitoring operations, performance tuning and providing support.

Medical information analytical center (MIAC)
MIAC is a department of Health Service of the city of Novosibirsk. Its main mission is to automate health information management.

Challenge: The goal was to develop a centralized medical information system of the city of Novosibirsk. Microsoft Silverlight platform had been chosen for building client applications. One of the major problems was to implement a data services layer for accessing data from Silverlight and others applications.
